Our East Lothian is a project set up by East Lothian Council Museums Service which aims to encourage people to share their memories and stories.
February is LGBT History Month. For the past two years, East Lothian has celebrated the month through a programme of activities.
For the next few months, this website will be dedicated to telling the stories of LGBT people. We would love for you to add your own memories, comments, or photographs.
Start by exploring our LGBT History Month page or discover more about our Storytelling events.

Our Photographs
East Lothian Museums Service has a wealth of photographs, but we need your input to bring them to life. We are looking for your memories, reflections, thoughts, poems, stories or written contributions to add to this website to expand our photograph collection into more than just images.
Your Photographs
As the project develops, we will be looking for your photographs of life in East Lothian. These can be of the past - such as old family photographs or your school pictures, or the present - the view from your livingroom window or of a significant object to you, as long as they have a link to the East Lothian area.
How to get involved
