Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender History Month

Our East Lothian is a project set up by East Lothian Council Museums Service which aims to encourage people to share their memories and stories.

February is LGBT History Month. For the past two years, East Lothian has celebrated the month through a programme of activities.

For the next few months, this website will be dedicated to telling the stories of LGBT people. We would love for you to add your own memories, comments, or photographs.

Start by exploring our LGBT History Month page or discover more about our Storytelling events.

  3. Hi,

Yes there will be updates. I’m going to add the photographs of the OurStory Scotland event shortly. We had a great session on Saturday 7th Feb. We ended up with 11 participants and everyone shared their story which was fantastic!

Thanks for checking out the website!
