Our event on the 7th of February 2009 went really well. We had very enthusiastic participants who shared their stories. Some of the stories were funny, some were poignant, and some upsetting. 
We tried out capturing ‘one-liners’ throughout the day when people said something funny or (sometimes) profound! One of our favourites was “I thought she was a lesbian but it turned out she was just in the army”.
There was also the famous rainbow bag, which is pictured left, which OurStory Scotland used, for the very first time, to collect all the stories in. It will now hopefully become a permanent feature at future events.
